Committee Members

Each year a committee is established to manage the organization's activities and organizing the year's memorial walk.  Committee members take on specific positions that help raise awareness of our organization and its mission.  Committee members are required to attend monthly meetings.

Event Volunteers

Hundreds of event volunteers help with the memorial walk held in October.  Event volunteers participate in various aspects of the event - such as setup, registration, marking the walking route, putting up signs along the route, and cleaning up after the event.  There are many different areas event volunteers can help. If you want to donate time to the OC Walk, being an event volunteer may be a workable option if you are not able to make a longer term commitment.  You are required to attend one informational meeting prior to the event. Volunteers

During the year, the organization participates in speaking engagements at local hospitals.  Parents who have experienced a loss can volunteer to share their story and how OC Walk To Remember has impacted your grieving and healing.
