Throughout the year, the OC Walk to Remember supports local hospitals and support groups in their efforts to help parents who have lost a baby or babies. We provide them with books, informational brochures and memory boxes, so they can in turn give those to parents in the hospital. Support groups have been able to do things such as hold reunions, distribute books, and give small gifts to parents with the money given to them by the OC Walk to Remember. Throughout the years, we have been asked to provide things such as cameras, photo printers, books and other support materials to hospitals.

Kristyn von Rotz and Lyndsey McLaughlan, along with other parents who have lost babies, speak to local hospitals to educate nurses, doctors, social workers and other staff members on the importance of how to care for patients who have lost a baby or babies. If your hospital or group is interested in having us speak please contact Kristyn at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

When a parent is in need of support, they contact the OC Walk to Remember and we are able to provide them with the names of local support groups, therapists, and even other parents who have had losses such as theirs. Whether it is by phone or e-mail, we are always here to make sure a parent has the tools they need to have hope and healing after such a devastating loss.
